Hi,
I'm trying to use an image map and links in the same page to bring up div's
in a table so that information can be swapped in and out from that area in
the screen. However at the moment the wording is overwriting rather than
covering i.e. the block is transparent and I am getting visible layers.....
what am I missing!
Thank you,
It's been an incredably nie day but I haven't seen any of it because I've
been beating my brains out over this!!!

Anna,
From the sound of it, you need to set a background colour for the DIVs.
... background-color: #000; ...
You could also hide the other DIVs at the same time as you show the new one.
If this doesn't help, send me a URL of the page, and I will see what I can do.

Thank you...I'd guessed that but had put it in the wrong place in the style
sheet.
There's a few things I have to figure though as I need to get back to the
original image at some point - the base layer.
