Roman numerals conversions - when run for 3999 Arabic convert to Roman
Numerals the output given on your page was MMMIM which is incorrect, that
is an invalid output, 3m is thee thousand, IM doesn't occur within the
rules of roman numerals... the correct output should be MMMCMXCIX

Thanks for letting me know.
As far as I knew, roman numerals could be optimised, say for IM to
represent 999. Do you have any documentation to the contrary, so that I can
see if my algorithms are invalid?

I have now updated the script to provide the option not to optimise Roman
Numerals as I have done, so without the option enabled, 3999 = MMMIM, but
with the option enabled, 3999 = MMMCMXCIX as you suggested. The updated
