I'm starting a project, intended to be released under GPL, that reads files of type *.pdn (portable draughts notation, similar to *.pgn - portable games notation) and generates html output. The main purpose is presenting games with a graphical interface something like http://xxx.xxxxx.xx/xxxxxx.xxx Target audience would be profit or non-profit (mainly non-profit) sites dedicated to checkers. Can I include your unmodified script in the distribution tarball with credits and link to your site or should I ask the end users to get permission from you? Thanks, jp
I have not included my response here because there is no single answer to this kind of question. I will consider every such request on a case-by-case basis.
