Just wanted to thank you for this bit of information which helped me figure
out why my css menus were not appearing in IE7. It really helped me out, I
was going nuts!
"NOTE: it is vital that the ULs are given a background colour, or Internet
Explorer does not recognise mouseovers / mouseouts correctly. It is also
vital that you use a DOCTYPE that triggers IE's "standards" rendering mode,
or the menu will not function in IE 7."
