Dear Mark,
I take this opportunity to thank you for all the great work you've done
and you made available to other people. I find your CSS Menu perfect and
very easy to use/modify, and all the other examples are very interesting
too.
I also had a look on your encryption page and I noticed that if I delete a
character from the password and try to decrypt the encrypted code, I get
some of the real characters on their real positions, which I think it is a
weakness of the code.

I agree, and it is a comment I made in the paragraph about the possible
future plan for the script on

Still, while I have had the time to update this script, I don't use it
anymore, so it is difficult to justify the time required, and the maths
involved makes my head hurt ... :( I do hope to update it at some point in
the future, but I do not have any plans yet as for when.

Hi Mark,
Regarding the encryption algorithm, I completely agree with you, it is very
difficult for somebody who is not constantly involved in such activities to
perform such tedious tasks. I found myself difficult to implement algorithms
which were supposed to be clearly explained and "simple" enough, yet
performant and I ended up too tired to finish the programs (I was trying
somehing simple enough so I jumped through many algorithms, like twofish and
multiple XOR operations. When I will consider I really need it, I will do
something). Therefore, as long as you don't need them, I don't see the point
of spending the time and effort. Anyway, as I was saying, I consider you've
added your share of knowledge for the rest of us. Although I am about 12
years older than you, I found out many useful things on your web site.
I also had a look at your caving photos, I had some interest in this
activity as well, but unfortunately I haven't done it too often. I am born
in Romania (currently living in Australia, since 98) and I visited only two
caves in Romania, but I enjoyed the experience very much.
