Thanks for all the research you put into your Browser Speed Comparisons
page. I can kind of tell from the version numbers, but when did you
write the article and/or perform the tests? I noticed your What's new
page, but that doesn't have dates that I can see.

The initial bunch of research and article wording was done between about
15th December 2004 and 5th Jan 2005 (that's how long it took to decide on
the tests and get all of the browsers installed and tested). The article was
first published on 7th Jan 2005, and there have been a few updates since
then with extra browsers added. Details of what dates updates were made is
held in my RSS feed:

Since they may "drop off the end" as more feed items are created, I will
summarise here:
7 Jan 2005 - Added an article comparing the speed of all major browsers at
performing various tasks
9 Jan 2005 - Added details of K-Meleon, Epiphany and the new Netscape
Preview, and added a note about progressive rendering
9 Jan 2005 - Added supplementary results for browsers that are not up to
the required capability spec to be included in the main results
17 Jan 2005 - Updated for Escape 5
21 Jan 2005 - Re-did the Opera 8 multiple images test on linux to avoid a
Google bug
17 Feb 2005 - Added results for iCab 3 on Mac OS 9 and OS X, w3m,
Avant, Maxthon and Mac OS X 'optimised' Firefox
22 Mar 2005 - Added in responses to comments about speed, security and
standards support, and added another comment about the article not being
biased (because I am fed up of ignorant liars)
30 Mar 2005 - Added resilts for NetFront 3
8 Aug 2005 - Added results for Internet Explorer 7 (beta 1)
9 Oct 2005 - Added results for Firefox 1.5 (beta 2)
13 Oct 2005 - Added results for Konqueror 3.4.91 (beta 1)
20 Oct 2005 - Added results for Opera 9 (tp 1)
5 Aug 2006 - Updated Opera 9 to 9.01. Updated IE 7 to IE 7 beta 3. Added
Konqueror 3.5.3. Added Firefox 2 beta 1. Added Camino 1.0.2.
