So was looking for [social networking site] username on you howtocretae.co.uk.
So, where are you Mr Mark?

Thanks for such a wonderful informative website.

I just avoided writing Hi, Hello etc, so that you do not delete my email.

As stated on my contact page, I do not use any social networking sites. I
do not like them.

Cheers.

ok. no problem.

Thanks for reply.
but do you know, if you use any service like [social networking site's
newsfeed facility], you can automatically publish every post url.
But I know you know all these but you do not want to do this.

Anyway thanks for all the articles you have posted in website. They are
really very helpful for all.

Cheers

Satya,

I already have a newsfeed on my site, that anyone can subscribe to using
their chosen news aggregator (virtually all browsers have newsfeed readers
built into them). It gives details of new and updated articles/tutorials.
You really do not need an external social networking site to provide a feed
service for your own site.

Yes, I already know about those sites. However, I hate virtually every
social networking site I have ever encountered. I hate the way they work, I
hate the approaches they use, I hate the way they are written, and I hate
just about everything else about them. I especially hate how they convince
people that they can't do anything in their lives without those sites.

They may be popular, but they are also the purveyors of some of the worst
and most braindead content that is available on the Web. I do not want to
associate myself at all with them. The Web is so much more than social
networking sites, and there is nothing wrong with maintaining your own
content only on your own dedicated sites. Virtually all of the quality
content on the Web is the stuff that cannot be found on those social
networking Web sites anyway.

Sorry for the rant, but I guess you realise that you just touched a nerve :D
