Interesting that it chooses to slow itself down like that :) You can just
hear the conversations about "Oh, but we must have the branding, the
branding!", without realising that from a user's perspective, first
impressions are everything, and that means speed, not an annoying splash
screen.

There are many things that can be done to speed browsers up (such as
tweaking network settings). But the tests are of standard browser installs,
without customisation (with the exceptions of a few essentials like popup
blockers for the JS tests).
