Dear Tarquin, So I don't really need help with my movable mini whatever, and I did read your entire site including that you are not looking for job offers however, I do have something to offer anyway. I came up with and amazing Idea that I think can and will be bigger than myspace (however it is not a friend sharing site, its just an example), there is nothing like it out there right now. I have all my ideas laid out and formulated, I just need someone to design the site, to go in on it with me. I am a student at [Brand] and although I have taken my computer class this is just to much for me to handle. I completely understand if you are not interested or if you think this is a scam. But tell you what. My name is Kate Purcell, I live in Irvine CA you can look me up, check out that I am not some crazy 50 year old in his basement. My phone number is 805 [Ed. rest of phone number removed - even misguided students deserve some pity], I am originally form Newbury Park that is where the 805 is from. I really hope you call, because I know we will find someone to help us, but I want it to be good!! And I know you will do it right. Thank you so much for your time, and I hope you are not too made that I tricked you into reading this. Thanks so much Kate Purcell
Kate,
I hope you read this here, because I have no intention of replying to you by email, and certainly not by phone.
I do not care what your intentions were, what you did is nothing short of insulting. Faking subjects to trick people into reading emails lowers you to the level of being a spammer, and I can assure you that I hold spammers in extremely low regard. Ok, so you targetted me specifically - unlike a normal spammer - but I asked you not to, you know I asked you not to, and you did it anyway. This is called 'unsolicited', and is a detested practice on the Internet.
I do not have time for projects like this, and even if I did, I have asked you not to send emails like this. If I need a job at some point in the future, I will say so on my site. Until then, please respect people's requests, and do not send them emails when they have asked you not to.
